South Central Community Action Program, Inc. (SCCAP), 1500 W 15th Street, Bloomington, IN 47404 is soliciting Contractors in relevant fields (Weatherization, General Construction, Insulation, HVAC, etc.) to perform work for the SCCAP Weatherization Program. SCCAP contractors perform a wide variety of improvements on homes from air sealing and insulating to HVAC improvements and health and safety measures (smoke and CO detectors etc.) with the goal of making homes more energy efficient. Contractors must carry commercial liability insurance ($1,000,000 single/$2,000,000 aggregate), completed operations and products liability insurance ($1,000,000 single/$2,000,000 aggregate), auto insurance ($500,000), and meet statutory requirements for a workman's compensation insurance.
